This handy replication function will let you randomly distribute, scale and rotate a large number of items. Perfect for introducing a little chaos into the often "too perfect" world of 3D graphics. Simply place the LUA file in your "Strata 3D CX 5 > Scripts > Autoload" folder and reboot Strata 3D. In addition to providing the source, Jon has graciously posted a complete, three part tutorial on how it was written.

Strata 3D CX provides a powerful workflow with Illustrator by importing both pdf and eps files. And, by adhering to the Adobe interface standard, this workflow is made even more useful. With the addition of Strata's Vector plug-in, you can render your 3D scenes as true vector artwork as Illustrator files.
