New Strata Training Class In Vegas
The Las Vegas Strata training session we've been chatting up for some time is now official. Run by the long-time Strata Trainers over at WestRim, this one is sure to inspire.

Lex de Azevedo will be presenting the Strata 3D ProSkills course on June 25th to 27th in the Fairfield Inn. Be sure to check out the site for more information, and remember to sign up before all the spaces have been taken.
It's That Time Again
The current challenge is in full swing, with about a week to go. If you haven't started on your entry, there's still time to compete for iPod Nanos and an iTunes gift certificate.

The challenge is to design a watch that may belong to a famous person or character. What might Iron Man's watch look like? Or the Hulk's? Or Hillary Clinton's =)
Buy and try for 30 days, if you don't like it, we'll pay you!
If you buy from now through the end of May, Strata's famous 30-day guarantee is getting a boost. Purchase Strata 3D CX, Strata Live 3D, Strata Foto 3D or the Strata CX Suite, and it doesn't live up to your expectations, you can return it for a full refund, and we'll pay you $20 for your trouble. Now trying out Strata's products is not only easy, but it could make you a cool $20.
The Orphaned Works Act
There is an important piece of legislation being considered right now that should be very important to US Illustrators and independent artists. The Orphaned Works Act would require you to create copies of every piece you've ever created and register it with multiple private registries, or risk giving up any rights to unregistered work you've created.

This is, of course, a huge shift in copyright, and should concern every designer, illustrator and design agency. Learn more after the link.

1951 MGTD by Larry Travers
Now that the weather is warming up, it's time to start putting the roof down on your Strata Renders. In the early days of the Cafe, Larry Travers donated this classic convertible. Check out the Cafe for more spring and summer props for your Strata 3D CX renderings.
