The first seminar in the 2008 Winter Seminar Series went off very well. Chris really delivered with a concise modeling tutorial and answered questions for almost an hour after the class. If you missed it, you can view the complete recorded session on the Seminar page to catch up.

Chris's next class in the series is happening Tuesday, February 26th at 11 AM MST. The next class is devoted to texturing, and examining the power of texture mixing modes and managing texture creation between Strata 3D CX 5.5 and Photoshop CS3.

Lex de Azevedo has taken the reigns of the 3DLayer blog and it's up and running. Look forward to regular content from Lex on Photoshop, 3D and the computer graphics world in general.

Lex, who many of you already know, is a veteran of 3D graphics and Photoshop, and a tried and tested Strata 3D expert. We're very excited about what Lex has to say and what he'll be adding to the Strata community.

Larry Travers uploaded a lot of models when StrataCafe first opened, and some of the resource sections, such as cars and boats, still feature a lot of his work. Use these light and detailed models to spice up any scene.
